Here's the plan for the 4th Grade class Christmas Party:
1. Personalized Photo Frame
2. Kisses in a bag
3. Candy Cane Reindeer
This is going to be a fun party! I'm really hoping that the frames have time to dry before they go home. The party begins at 10:45. If you'd like to come help, please join us on the 22nd at 10:30am to set up. We'll clean up at 11:45, right before lunch. Thanks!

More Holiday Gift Ideas
1st Graders can make beaded bracelets for sisters. We could use elastic cording, which would eliminate the need for clasps or closures. Wood or plastic beads would work great. Again, we're still searching for cute gift ideas for brothers.

Kids' Holiday Gift Ideas
Parent Gift:
IKEA has RAM frames (unfinished wood with plastic instead of glass overlay) $1.99/3 frames. We could have the kids decorate their frame with mod podge and paper or stickers. That would be a cute gift for parents.
Sister Gift:
Flowers for the hair (made with silk flowers, ribbon, and barrettes). We'd need some adults manning the hot glue guns. This might be hard to do with 1st graders, but I think the 4th graders could do it.

Christmas Party Plans
We'll be having a Santa's Workshop theme for our classroom Holiday parties this year (both Cannon and Curtis). We want to give the kids an opportunity to make some gifts to take home and give to their family members. I'm looking for great ideas. Inexpensive, meaningful gifts. Please share! I'll post ideas that come my way. Thanks!
Halloween Fun!
Here are the cute pictures of our class parties today. Halloween is such a fun holiday for kids. For our First Grade party, we had 5 stations:
-Halloween Bingo
-Cupcake Walk (with spooky Halloween music)
-Monster Hands (plastic gloves filled with popcorn)
-Sucker Witch
-Mummy Hand Candy Sort (wrap the kids' hands in fabric and have them try to pick up and sort small candies)
The kids had a blast. Thanks to all of the creative moms who helped create and run this awesome party!!
Our Fourth Grade party was great, too! We had 5 stations:
-Halloween Greeting Cards (the pop-up kind)
-Halloween Bingo
-Oreo Spiders (use Oreos for body, Twizzlers peel-n-pull for legs, and chocolate chips for eyes...stuck together with frosting)
-Halloween Story and Sing-A-Long (Susie, you rock!!)
-Spider Web Game (with yarn)
